Today’s Mantra is “Beating the Blahs”
We’ve all had one of “those days” now and again.
You don’t want to get out of bed in the morning.
You don’t want to get up and go to work.
You really don’t want to “get that task done”.
Etc., Etc., Etc.
We are feeling “blah”, we have no energy to do the things we need to do, or should be doing, or want to do.
What shall we do?
Face it head on! Get up on your feet! Go for a walk!
Play your favorite song and sing along (or dance if you prefer).
Call up a friend who makes you laugh!
Anything to chase that old “blah” feeling away! You can do it!!
NO MORE “BLAH” DAY!
Start ridding your life of the “blahs” today!
and have a wonderful “blah-free” day!

My favorite way to banish the blahs is to “act as if”. I change my thoughts to those of perfection. If this was really a perfect day, then this particular thing would be happening. And I “act as if” it is happening. And very often, the thing I am “acting as if” actually comes to pass. Today I will act as if my favorite people are coming at 6 p.m. I will clean house as I work on the net. Are you and Carol coming for dinner tonight?
